First licensed in June 2015 {as KG7UET}, then granted the call sign W7FZY Jan. 2016and in 2016 obtained my Amateur Extra ticket. For study, I recommend Roy Watson's [N1ZTL] study apps as well as the online flashcards at hamstudy.org. My QRZ page includes a log book and some other info. I log on LoTW, EQSL, and QRZ.

The photos to the left are screens from the SDR (Software Defined Radio) software called PowerSDR that runs my base station Flex-3000 in my shack . The amazing part is the software add-ons from KE9NS that occur occasionally. YouTube videos of his upgrades are amazing. Special thanks to Jay - NO7J with settings on my FlexRadio.

My present project: learning CW . With the propagation so poor the past year, I can be found most often using digital modes: JT-65 and PSK31.
